I decided at the start of the this lockdown I couldn’t just put my beloved camera away in its bag. I wanted to keep shooting, but I didn’t wanna keep saying to myself maybe at the weekend. So I set myself a challenge to take a photo a day and see why happened. I had no set photos in mind, I didn’t know if I’d end up just taking picture do the girls, brain our dog ,local landscapes or food! It’s started of more based around lockdown and how we were feeling, then it evolved into more fine art creative portraits. I have grown a really love for creating these fun portraits. Grabbing a random item or have the girls choose a theme and just running with it. It has been me more than I had ever hoped for and have allowed me to create the most gorgeous portraits of my beautiful daughters. I have definitely got my years work or images of the girls.
I have managed to express how lockdown felt to me as a parent during home schooling. Which I know so many people have related too. It has made me feel more normal to know other people weren’t feeling how I was. It’s been fun, I’ve loved it but sadly with the girls going back to school it’s just not feasible to continue the challenge. The girls going back to school feels like the perfect milestone to complete the challenge.
Thank you so much for all the wonderful kind comments it really helped me want to continue the challenge and to hopefully entertain you through lockdown 3.0.
So now it my time to focus and put my all my efforts into getting the business ready welcome all the wonderful people it will be working with this year! I’m ready to take Twirly Girl Photography up to the next level, providing you with the most incredible images, experience and wall art!
